The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was established into Texas state law as part of House Bill 3 during the 86th Texas Legislature. The state provides this funding to the district to reward the TIA designees. The goal of TIA is to provide outstanding teachers with an accessible pathway to a six-figure salary. Through approved local designation systems, districts can identify and designate outstanding teachers based on student growth and classroom observation. Employing designated teachers generates extra funding for districts to reward top performers.
Anson ISD is thrilled to share that seven of our educators have attained this prestigious designation. Currently, AISD stands among fifteen out of forty-three districts in Region 14 with a fully approved TIA plan and awarded designations. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following teachers for achieving this honor: Reta Campbell, Molly Favor, Amie Felan, Robyn Jones, Molly Mishler, Kristan Stewart, and Stefanie Villegas.
We eagerly anticipate more teachers earning designations through the Teacher Incentive Allotment program and the positive impact it will have on Anson ISD and our community.
