Teacher Incentive Allotment in Anson ISD
The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was established into Texas state law as part of House Bill 3 during the 86th Texas Legislature. The goal of TIA is to provide outstanding teachers with an accessible pathway to a six-figure salary. Through approved local designation systems, districts can identify and designate outstanding teachers based on student growth and classroom observation. Employing designated teachers generates extra funding for districts to reward top performers. Anson ISD has an approved designation system to identify, designate, and reward outstanding teachers based on student growth and classroom observation.
