Mrs. Jobe's GT students explored bats last week as they dug into the Discovery Trunk that was checked out from the Texas Wildlife Association.
The Discovery Trunk included:
- a bat specimen in acrylic
- a bat skeleton in acrylic
- a plastic bat replica
- a bat skull
- a replica of bat guano
The students discovered that there are over 1,400 species of bats worldwide!
