The AES Library had a makeover during the summer!
With inviting furniture and a fresh coat of paint to entice young readers to grab a seat and enjoy a great book, the library fosters a love for reading for all elementary students.
Research shows that reading daily provides the following benefits for students:
- Reading helps improve writing skills
- Reading stimulates and enhances children’s imaginations
- Fiction stimulates creativity in children
- Regularly reading helps kids develop empathy
